Offshore Creations, Inc. to Present at the Gartner Symposium ITxpo 2004 Exhibition
SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 2004--Offshore Creations, Inc. (PK: OFSC) announced today that the firm will both exhibit and present at the Gartner Group's ITxpo 2004 trade show in Orlando, Florida from October 17 thru 22. Attended by more than 7,000 IT decision-makers primarily from Fortune 500 firms, the event is by far the largest and most prestigious of its kind held anywhere in the world, with senior management present from Microsoft (NasdaqNM: MSFT), Sun Microsystems (NasdaqNM: SUNW), Intel (NasdaqNM: INTC), Cisco (NasdaqNM: CSCO), Oracle (NasdaqNM: ORCL), the Federal Reserve Bank, and NASA, to name a few.

ReportJet Updates Version
On October 13th, 2004, ReportJet, a Java-based report building tool based on Eclipse technology announced the release of Demo version. While ReportJet is still in the beta stage, its improved user interface and variety of options make it superior to other solutions being offered for use by beta testers at this time. This latest version includes improved data grouping and aggregating capabilities, and a new, improved user interface for its Expression Builder, which allows users to assign expressions quickly and easily. The developers state that new improvements are underway, with another new release expected by December of this year.


The ECF Project: Eclipse Supports Communication Platforms
The Eclipse Communications Framework (ECF) Project has been created to provide an open-source framework to support the creation of communications applications on the Eclipse platform. The framework will consist of Eclipse plugins that provide high-level APIs to support asynchronous and real-time messaging for human-to-human, human-to-component, and component-to-component communications and collaboration.
